The ones we answer most often. None of them cost anything to ask on the telephone either.
Do you really not charge for phone calls?
No. The fee is annual and calls and emails are in it. A client who rings before signing a lease is cheaper to look after than one who rings afterwards.
What if I'm years behind?
Common, and fixable. We work out exactly what is missing, quote a fixed figure to bring it up to date, and deal with the TAJ about penalties. Most people are current within two months.
Can you do just the annual return?
We would rather not: a return prepared from a year of unkept books costs more and is worse. If that is genuinely all you need, we will say so and quote it.
How do I get my records to you?
However suits: a folder dropped at the office, photographs of receipts on WhatsApp, or read-only access to your accounting software. We do not mind messy.
Is the fee monthly or yearly?
Agreed annually, payable monthly by standing order if you prefer. It does not change during the year unless your business does.
Do you audit?
We do the audits we are permitted to do, and refer the rest to two firms we trust. If you only need an audit, say so on the call and we will point you straight at them.
